Shimano and MicroSHIFT systems have created a drivetrain with robust 2x8 gears that can handle any combination you throw at it, and the reliable Radius CX7 mechanical discs seal the deal of the century. A heart of gold, presented in our lightweight but durable Premium A1 Aluminium material, the Rockhopper incorporates reinforced aluminium tubing to keep weight down and strength high, all while maintaining ample ground clearance, slick internal cable routing and telescopic seatpost compatibility. To ensure the Rockhopper fits everyone while providing the best performance, we've paired each Rockhopper frame size with the optimum size of wheelset. The result is a Rockhopper that fits every rider and delivers optimum handling in every size thanks to the optimal wheel set size. With the Rx Tune tuning system, which we bring to the Rockhopper line for the first time, on an SR Suntour XCM lockout-equipped fork and our Multi-Circuit suspension system on the Rockhopper wheels, fork travel and tuning is specific to each frame size, ensuring that consistent geometry, handling and fork function are the same regardless of frame size. Beautifully brutal, SRAM's Level hydraulic disc brakes can bite nicely, but they dispense their power with grace and intuitiveness, well above their grade. A simple drivetrain with durable 1x MicroSHIFT gears offers plenty of range, while a clutched derailleur keeps your ride smooth - and your chain in place. Pair the reliable Formula hubs with our hookless Stout rims with a 25 millimetre inner diameter and you've got a hat trick of wheelsets: strong, lightweight and durable.
