It's not only the first supple seatpost, but it's ALSO aerodynamic, without any extra weight or other undesirable characteristics. Starting with the same D-shape you find on the Tarmac, we've taken the compliance a step further with added flex at the top and a new lowered fit in the frame. All of this provides plenty of compliance, yet it's all in line with the front of the bike, so you get a smooth and tuned ride, even on a rutted road. On broken roads, the Future Shock 1.5 provides 20mm of travel for a smooth and comfortable ride. It also reduces fatigue and increases speed on broken terrain. The new Smooth Boot promotes a nice look with a clean transition from head tube to stem.
